The course was very informative and easy to understand. I liked that it was a smaller class and received individual instruction to catch anything that I might be doing incorrectly.

Great place for HR218 qual. The instructors are very nice, well informed regarding all the HR218 ever changing policies and they go over them before the qual. The qual is well run. I drive 1.5 hours because I am very pleased with all aspects of the Ontario Rod and Gun Club. I highly recommend them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first-ever firearm class! I came in with realistic expectations- to get basic information on safely handling our firearms and begin desensitizing to the environment. Both instructors were friendly and very helpful in accomplishing this. I expected a little more information on the types of ammo, NYS law, parts of the shotgun etc., but I know I dive deep into information and they are limited on time. The instructors also handled one student who was not in the habit of keeping his finger off the trigger with incredible grace, building the habit without demoralizing them. I look forward to my own practice and the next level of this class.

Class provided information about the product while also answering any particular questions or concerns I had. I left with a better sense of safety and confidence when using the Byrna. Definitely learned a little bit more than I knew from YouTube videos etc. Highly recommend Thank you!

So worth every minute. I learned SO much - from how to take in my surroundings more and detect a threat before an attack, and then of course, what to do if I do face an attack. I am amazed at my own power, and feel so much more EMpowered now. I’m telling every woman I know about this class and telling them to TAKE IT.

Matt and Mike were very knowledgeable. The course did exactly as promoted. I came away much more comfortable with handling my shotgun yet knowing there is much more I need to learn for me to be a responsible gun owner.

Always a great experience training with RPD. Dave is one of the very few certified to teach Dave Spaulding’s Handgun Combatives curriculum. Repeating this class was a great choice after a couple of years to continue refining the essentials / fundamentals.
